Winter Cocktails to indulge in:
Snuggler
Ingredients (serves 8)
- 4 cups milk
- 2 x 100g blocks dark chocolate (70% cocoa solids), broken into small pieces
- 360 ml Peppermint Schnapps (45ml per glass)
- 8 tbsp whipped cream (1tbsp per glass)
- 8 tsp sugar if desired (1 tsp per glass)
Method
1. Heat milk in a saucepan over medium heat for 3 to 4 minutes or until almost boiling. Remove from heat.
2. place schnapps into a warmed glass
3. Divide chocolate evenly between 8 warm cups or glasses Pour 1/2 cup milk into each cup. Stir until chocolate melts and mixture is smooth.
4. serve with whipped cream and shave
Irish Coffee
Ingredients (serves 2)
- 2 tsp brown sugar
- 4 tbs Irish whiskey
- 1 ½ cup (360ml) strong hot black coffee
- 2 tbs Irish Cream
- Whipped cream
- 2 tsp grated dark chocolate
Method
1. Place brown sugar into a coffee mug. Pour in whiskey and coffee. Pour Irish cream into mug over the back of a spoon.
2. Carefully float cream on top and finish with chocolate.
