Baron Samedi Buttered Rum


  • 60mL Baron Samedi Spiced Rum
  • 180mL Hot water
  • Small cube of un-salted butter
  • 1 x bar spoon of vanilla extract
  • Pinch of ground cinnamon
  • Pinch of nutmeg 
  • 2 x cloves


  • Combine water, butter, spices and vanilla extract into a small saucepan
  • Stir on low heat until hot 
  • Add the Baron Samedi Spiced rum and take off the heat. 
  • Serve in a mug or latte glass 
  • Garnish with orange zest and a cinnamon quill
